We offer our services to people over the age of 50.
We aim to promote the wellbeing of older people and enable them to live their life to the full. Together we can ensure that we remain a strong community: one that lives legally here in Spain, takes steps to ensure its own future and does not forget those that need help.
The one thing that is for certain is that we are all going to get older, as we age our health whether it be physical or mental, at times deteriorates and we may need a bit of help. Everyone feels vulnerable at times and in need of friendship and support.
We believe being older should not mean that people’s rights are taken away from them in respect as to how they want to maintain their habits and lifestyle. We aim to provide help, advice, guidance and support through these issues.
Our emphasis is on ‘signposting’ people to the right organisation so they can get the appropriate help for their needs. See our page on loan equipment.
From time to time we have a list of Volunteers and Carers who can offer information and advice and support. These people have asked to be on our register, we can provide you with contact details for them. It is up to the client to arrange what they need and the appropriate payment to the Carer. ACIF cannot be held responsible for your choice of Carer or if anything goes wrong.
Our ‘Directory’ page provides links to other Organisations that we feel offer good advice and information on such things as Living in Spain. Pensions, Benefits, Wills etc. These links are intended for guidance only and does not in any way constitute our full recommendation of the use of their information provided, or ACIF’s endorsement of such sites.
Please note: It is always best to seek expert professional help and advice on information relating to your situation.
